Cooking with the No series
DAVA’s ’No Series’ are plant-based meat substitute products based on extruded protein from peas and fava beans. We call them plant bites. The plant bites vary in shape depending on the product you choose: No Beef (strips), No Kebab (chunks) or No Chicken (chunks). Each product comes with seasoning that provides the taste you are already familiar with, which makes it easy to replace the meat you normally use in lasagne, spaghetti bolognese or durum, for instance.
The products are rich in protein and dietary fibre, which means that if you replace your meat completely – or maybe just half – we promise that you will still feel full.
The plant bites are organic and gluten-free. We believe that choosing plant products should be easy and tasty, and therefore, we have developed the No series for your taste buds as well as ours 💚
Get started with the No products
You have just brought a bag with a No product home, and you are standing in the kitchen thinking: "What now"?
We will tell you. It is actually quite simple.
A bag of No includes plant bites and a bag of seasoning. All you have to do is add the amount of water and oil stated on the packaging and spend the next 15 minutes wondering how to serve your No product.
How to cook No 👩🏼🍳
STEP 1
Measure out 2 dl of water and 3 tbsp of oil.
STEP 2
Mix seasoning with water and oil. Add plant bites. Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes, stir regularly. The plant bites should be soaked through.
STEP 3
Cook the plant bites by frying them on a pan for 5-10 minutes on medium heat or roasting them in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 °C.
STEP 4
After this, you can eat the plant bites as they are or use them in various dishes.
