Barn eggs

All DAVA Foods barn eggs are guaranteed to come from hens that all year can walk freely around in the barn, which offers access to nests and perches and a maximum of 9 hens per m2. Minimum 1/3 of the barn floor must be covered with straw, wood shavings, sand or peat. Feel free to read more about the barn production system.

We sell barn eggs in different quantities - from 6 eggs to 30 eggs. Likewise, our barn shell eggs are available different sizes from S to XL.

As with all our shell eggs and egg products, food safety is of the utmost importance for DAVA Foods. For an example, in Denmark we have the world's strictest control measures regarding salmonella. The law requires bi-weekly testing, but DAVA Foods conduct tests weekly.

That places us in the forefront of egg-related health and safety. Tests show that our eggs are free from salmonella and we are confident in our claim that eggs are among the safest in the world.
