No Chicken fried rice

Do you have some leftover rice, or do you just feel like having fried rice? Then, you have landed on the perfect recipe. 

Fried rice is one of those Asian dishes that are quick and easy to make, and it is excellent for a meat-free day. Therefore, we have naturally created vegan fried rice with No Chicken, which along with the vegetables creates a lovely structure in the dish.

Ingredients

4 tbsp olive oil
300 g DAVA No Chicken, prepared
1 red chili, minced
1 tbsp ginger, freshly grated
2 tbsp soya sauce
3 cloves garlic, crushed
4 tbsp toasted sesame oil
400 g mixed vegetables as desired, cut into bite-size pieces
0.5 dl water
400 g rice, boiled and cold
Salt and pepper
The juice from 1 lime

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a pan.
 
Add No Chicken, red chili, ginger, soya sauce, garlic and sesame oil. Sauté everything for approx. 2 minutes.
 
Mix in the mixed vegetables, and fry them for 1 minute.
 
Add water to lightly steam the vegetables.
 
Add rice, and mix gently with the vegetables.
 
Fry everything thoroughly for approx. 1 minute, until the dish is warm. Season with salt and pepper.
 
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the fried rice. Serve immediately.
