Organic eggs

All organic eggs supplied by DAVA Foods are guaranteed to originate from hens that have been reared organically. During the full rearing period they are fed with organic feed and the Danish organic hens have access to an attractive hen yard from when they are six or nine weeks old (depending on the season).

When the hens grow up and become egg-layers, the hens must have access to both barn and hen yard throughout the whole year. The hen yard must provide shelter, shade and vegetation. In an organic egg production, the amount of hens must be at a maximum of 3.000 hens and a maximum of 6 hens per m² is allowed in the barn.

Organic eggs from DAVA Foods are available in all sizes and quantities - from 4 eggs to 30 loose eggs. If you want to know more about the products and/or have questions about them, you are welcome to contact your local sales office.
